Driving from the South on I-35 (Minneapolis/St.Paul):

Take the Sturgeon Lake exit and turn right. Just after the Red Oak Inn, turn left onto Hwy. 51. Follow 51 North until it hits a "T" at County Rd. 10 (County Line Rd.). Turn right onto 10. You will soon pass Island Lake on your right. The Sanctuary is about 1.6 miles beyond the lake. If it is dry, park in the field on your left. The studio area is on your right overlooking a pond.

Driving from the North on I-35 (Duluth):

Take the 2nd Moose Lake exit and turn right. Turn left onto County Rd. 10 (across from truck station) and stay on it as it turns left and crosses over I-35. You will soon pass Island Lake on your right. The Sanctuary is about 1.6 miles beyond the lake. If it is dry, park in the field on your left. The studio area is on your right overlooking a pond.
